Create/Edit/Delete Semantic Group Data

Create Semantic Group Data

For more information on how to create semantic group data (attribute/sensor’s feed/actuators/alarms) go to Create/Modify/Delete Semantic Groups section of this guide.

Note: Each feed/actuator/alarm displayed in a semantic group is presented in form of a tile with its name, graphic representation of sensor’s feed/actuator/alarm in question and the info if the source (the device sensor’s feed/actuator/alarm comes from) is active, inative or removed.

Edit Semantic Group Data

To edit the data (attribute/sensor’s feed/actuator/alarm) within one semantic group click on data you would like to edit.

If it is sensor:

  • Click on sensor
  • New Edit pop-up window will appear

  • You can edit sensor’s name/unit/alarm
  • Click Save to confirm the action

If it is actuator:

MOVE TO Option

Apart from text fields, there is also MOVE TO option which allows you to move the data (attributes/sensor’s feed/actuator/alarm) to another semantic group. To do so:

  • Click on MOVE TO button at the top of the window

  • New pop-up window will appear with the list of all the semantic groups you have created/have the access to

* New pop-up window will appear requiring you to confirm the action

  • Click on Delete
  • Sensor’s feed/actuator/alarm will be deleted from the semantic group you are currently modifying, but will, however remain in the default mapping section
