One of the options to connect the device to the Platform is the use of our WolkConnectors open source libraries written in different languages (Java, C, C++ and Python). They are used to connect any IP-enabled device to WolkAbout IoT Platform, thus making it WolkAbout-aware if you can manage device firmware.
- Click on the device you want to connect displayed on the main Devices page
- This will open a new Details dialog with Info (displaying all the information previously seen on the main page) and Connectivity, Access, Data and Firmware update tabs
Connectivity tab displays Get connector field with a drop-down menu listing the languages (Java, C, C++ and Python) mentioned above. Choose one and click on the GITHUB button.
Note: Further steps towards connecting the device to the Platform need to be taken by a technically equipped individual.
